A highlight of the day is a refreshing soak in the natural hot springs at Tatopani. Feeling rejuvenated, we'll continue our trek, crossing several suspension bridges over the Budhi Gandaki and Yaru Khola rivers. After a full day of hiking, we'll arrive at the charming village of Deng, our home for the night.

Trek from Samagaon to Pungyen Gompa & return back
Today, we'll take a well-deserved break in the charming village of Samagaon to adjust to the higher altitude. This extra day is crucial for acclimatizing to the thinner air and preparing for the challenges ahead.
We'll spend the day exploring the local area, including a visit to the historic Pungyen Gompa. This ancient monastery offers a glimpse into the region's rich Buddhist heritage. You'll have plenty of time to wander through the village, soak up the atmosphere, and relax before our next adventure.

After a four to five hour hike, we'll reach the charming village of Samdo, our home for the night.

Trek to Dharamsala (4480m/14,628ft)

From there, the landscape starts to change dramatically, and we'll be treated to our first glimpse of the impressive Larkya Glacier.
As we ascend towards Dharamsala, also known as Larkya Base Camp, we'll feel the altitude increasing. The final stretch might be challenging, but the reward is the stunning mountain scenery that surrounds us.
Tonight, we'll rest and recharge at Dharamsala, knowing that we're one step closer to conquering the iconic Larkya La Pass.

Trek to Bimthang (3720m/12,201ft) via Larkya La Pass (5200m/17060ft)

We'll embark on a steep ascent, climbing the northern side of the Larkya Glacier. Along the way, we'll be treated to breathtaking views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. Reaching the summit at 5,200 meters is a truly exhilarating experience. Take a moment to soak in the panoramic vistas and the sense of accomplishment.
The descent to Bhimthang will be equally rewarding, offering different perspectives of the stunning mountain scenery. After a long but fulfilling day, we'll arrive at our accommodation in Bhimthang, tired but exhilarated.

As we embark on our hike, we'll gradually descend through lush rhododendron forests, creating a vibrant tapestry of colors. We'll also encounter charming villages along the way, offering a glimpse into the local way of life. After a rewarding five to six hour trek, we'll reach the village of Tilije, our home for the night.

Drive from Tilije to Kathmandu via Besisahar

This 8-9 hour journey offers a perfect opportunity to relax and reflect on the incredible adventure we've just had.
Once we arrive in Kathmandu, we'll celebrate our successful trek with a farewell dinner at an authentic Nepalese restaurant. It's a chance to share stories, laughter, and delicious food with your fellow trekkers and our wonderful team.
