Skill Level: Moderate. This trek involves moderate daily hikes with increasing altitude. A good level of fitness is recommended, but the shorter itinerary with helicopter return makes it more accessible than the traditional trek.
Group Size: This itinerary can be tailored for private treks, offering a personalized experience.
Accommodation: Indulge in luxury accommodations throughout the trek. Stay in comfortable lodges with spacious rooms, en-suite bathrooms, and stunning mountain views. Some lodges may even offer additional amenities like hot showers and Wi-Fi access (limited connectivity).
Transportation: Domestic flights from Kathmandu to Lukla (one-way) are included. For the return journey, enjoy a scenic helicopter flight directly from Gorakshep, eliminating the need for a long trek back down.

Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be met by our representatives and transferred to your luxurious hotel. The rest of the day is yours to unwind and adjust to the time difference.
Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
In the morning, explore the vibrant city of Kathmandu. Visit historical sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), or wander through bustling Thamel Street. In the afternoon, meet your guide and discuss the trek itinerary. Finalize any equipment rentals and purchase any last-minute supplies you may need.
Day 3
Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
An exciting day begins with a thrilling flight to Lukla. Enjoy the breathtaking aerial views of the Everest region before landing. After a briefing, embark on a gentle trek through the Dudh Koshi River valley to the charming village of Phakding.
Day 4
Trek to Namche Bazaar
The trail continues along the well-established path, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Cross the Hillary Bridge and gradually ascend to Namche Bazaar, a bustling gateway town known as the "Sherpa Capital." Settle into your luxurious lodge and explore the shops, cafes, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
Day 5
Acclimatization Hike to Hotel Everest View and Khumjung Village
Today is crucial for acclimatization. Embark on a scenic hike to Everest View Hotel, offering panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Indulge in a luxurious lunch before continuing to the nearby village of Khumjung, home to the famous Kunde Monastery.
Day 6
Trek to Pangboche
Leaving Namche Bazaar, follow the trail through rhododendron forests and quaint villages. Enjoy breathtaking views of Thamserku Peak and the Kantega Wall. Our destination for the night is Pangboche, a traditional Sherpa village where you'll stay in a comfortable lodge.
Day 7
Trek to Dingboche
Continuing our ascent, we'll traverse yak pastures and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas. Dingboche, our stop for the night, is situated in a picturesque valley surrounded by towering peaks. Relax and unwind in your luxurious lodge.
Day 8
Acclimatization Hike to Nakharjang Peak (5000m) and Back to Dingboche
Another acclimatization day! Embark on a challenging but rewarding hike to Nakharjang Peak, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. This hike helps your body adjust to the higher altitude before pushing further. Return to Dingboche for a relaxing afternoon in your lodge.
Day 9
Trek to Lobuche
The landscape becomes more rugged as we follow the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Reach Lobuche, a small village situated at the foot of the Khumbu Icefall. Enjoy the unique atmosphere and breathtaking views from your lodge.
Day 10
Trek to Everest Base Camp
The highlight of the trek! Traverse the Khumbu Glacier moraine, passing through a landscape sculpted by glaciers. Finally, we'll reach Everest Base Camp, a temporary settlement bustling with mountaineering activity. Savor the moment and witness the majestic Everest towering above you.
Day 11
Climb Kala Patthar and Helicopter Return
An early start is rewarded with a challenging yet unforgettable climb to Kala Patthar (5,643m). This vantage point offers the most spectacular views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and the surrounding Khumbu Valley. Bundle up against the cold morning air and witness the breathtaking sunrise paint the mountains in a golden glow. After soaking in the panorama, descend back to Gorakshep for a celebratory breakfast at your lodge.
In the afternoon, experience the thrill of a helicopter ride! Bid farewell to Gorakshep and the Everest Base Camp as you board a scenic helicopter flight. Enjoy a bird's-eye view of the Himalayas as you soar back to Lukla. Upon arrival in Lukla, catch a connecting flight back to Kathmandu, relaxing in the comfort of the airplane after your adventure.
Day 12
Departure
After a relaxing breakfast at your hotel in Kathmandu, depending on your departure schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Our representatives will then transfer you to the airport for your flight home, taking with you unforgettable memories of your luxurious Everest Base Camp trek.

This trek offers a luxurious experience with upgraded lodge accommodations and a helicopter return from Gorakshep, eliminating several days of trekking.
While the helicopter return makes it more accessible than the standard trek, a good level of fitness is still recommended due to the daily hikes and increasing altitude.
Weight restrictions are less strict compared to flights to Lukla. You'll likely be able to bring a standard checked suitcase in addition to your carry-on. Confirm weight limits with the operator before your trip.
In case of bad weather, alternative arrangements might be made, such as extending your stay in Gorakshep and trekking back down to Lukla. Safety is always the top priority. Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover such situations.
